Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman in business. Buss is the founder and director of Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss was born in California and grew up an heir to a prestigious family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was a real estate tycoon and later proprietor of Lakers, among other businesses. Her parents divorced in 1972. broke up in divorce and she was left feeling emotionally left out. When she was 19, she began working for the family's business.
